Here’s a link to some test shots taken with the Vivitar 75-205mm lens.

Since the FD-mount lenses are all from the ’70s, I’m going to list the modern EF-mount equivalents from Canon’s website:
Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 -> Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
Canon FD 135mm f/2.8 -> Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 Soft Focus
Vivitar 75-205mm f/3.8 -> Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM
135mm is no longer a popular focal length for primes and Vivitar doesn’t make a 75-205mm zoom anymore so I went with the closest match from Canon (which happens to be a VERY affordable L-series lens but I can speak from experience that spending the extra $700 on the image stabilizer version is well worth it with focal lengths over 135mm).

Though I personally, if I had to replace my 50mm prime, would go with either the 50mm f/1.2L if I could afford it or the 50mm f/1.8. There are major mechanical focus problems plaguing the EF 50mm f/1.4 lens from Canon so until they come out with a second generation of that lens, I’m going to avoid it.
