    Classical German/English Hybrid just feels like Josh to me.

      I would tend to agree. But I’m refraining from giving my opinion (for my prototypes, I’ve been using the Moeller hybrid naming but I want to submit the designs to the AGO for approval and I need to know what the final stop names will be).

    They all have something to be said for them. Hence the poll. Anyway, I had originally designed the organ with only 3 divisions: Pedal, Swell, and Great. But I was having difficulty making the both the Gedeckt and the Rohrfloete fit in the swell box (in the CAD models). So I solved the issue by adding a Solo division for the clear-speaking Gedeckt and shrill, polytonic harmonic flute (Octavin). This has the added bonus of opening up space for me to move the Flautino and Larigot out of the Great division. This way the Great Division contains only nonimitative diapasons (except for the Rohrfloete which is the alternate (flute) foundation stop of the organ) and the Swell Division contains only flutes (Nachthorn is actually a flute, despite being called a Night Horn). Still only going to be 2 manuals/1 pedal – Solo will float, hence the couplers.

    The other big advantage is that this way, both the Swell and Great divisions are full-compass (Unison, Octave, and Superoctave).
