Disposition of the Vintage 1997 bottle of Sam Adams Triple Bock

I was considering de-cellaring the 1997 bottle of Sam Adams Triple Bock in celebration of my getting a job.  But I don’t know if now is the right time.  Also, even though it’s only ten ounces, it’s 36 proof (at time of bottling).  Meaning I’d need at least one other person to help me drink it.  Also, I make no guarantees that a 13 year old bottle of beer (albiet very strong beer) will even be drinkable, though Discount Liquor saw fit to sell it so I’m guessing they’d assume it’s drinkable.  What do you think?

Everyone who showed up for the beer tasting knows how this bottle turned out. 13 years is too damn long to age a beer. We enjoyed a few sips of the thickest soy sauce ever from this bottle and poured the rest down the sink. We’re not kidding: the beer turned into soy sauce. Like actually smelling and tasting exactly like soy sauce.

I swear someone bottled soy sauce as a prank, and then forgot about it in that back room/basement/wherever you got it from.
