I had a rather successful strat run yesterday.

We 4-manned it most of the way since every DPS that joined dropped out shortly after.  We couldn’t figure out why they’d accept the invite and then leave…

Finally!  The gate opens!

Then things went to crap.  You know how healers usually trail behind the group so as not to get unwanted agro?  Well, that bit me in the ass big time.

That’s right – the end boss fight is behind a gate that locks after the first group member passes.  So if there are any trailing behind, they just bought a spectator ticket.

The group made it through the adds and the boss fight without the aid of my heals (or the aid of the second DPS that was trapped behind yet another door that shuts after one member enters…)

Take a look at the minimap/radar in the upper left – I haven’t seen such a rigid demarcation of land like that before.
