Liturgy of Espresso

Chad stumbled this at me.  It’s just plain awesome.  It appears to be a liturgically and theologically sound Service of the Trinity, not unlike what our church uses on Holy Trinity Sunday (first Sunday after Pentecost).  I especially like the scriptural tie-ins – they seem entirely appropriate and well-reasoned.  The metaphors of coffee, milk, steam, and water fit quite well in the structure of worship.

I am quite fascinated by liturgies and their trappings, especially the symbolism of each movement.  This is just plain perfect!

Yeah, it seemed perfect for you—so long as you don’t run off to join a coffee cult.

Lol. I can just see it now – invading coffee shops to celebrate the Lord’s Supper. 😛
