So, I like you guys and here’s what’s going on in my life right nowHad my MATC orientation this past Tuesday, and my classes start on Jan. 20th. I am trying to complete the IT-Networking Specialist associates program which will, in theory, prepare me for the CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) and A+ exams. I’ll also be able to administer MS servers as well. Additionally, I need a few less credits than the average MATC student, thanks to the History degree, so that should free up some time to take more technical classes and get out with a degree and a couple certificates.
However, it appears that I need to take the equivalent of English 101, which I tested out of, a Psychology class, and a couple of communications classes. When the real advisers get back from vacation, I am going to sit down with one, and try to negotiate my way out of these four classes. Even if I can only knock off the English and Communications off, that will still free up more time for real things, and not this BS that I’ve already taken or tested out of. Hopefully upper level classes will take out these silly general education requirements, or I’m going to be annoyed irritated very upset.
Well, that’s all for now, hope the rest of you are still doing well and not on fire.
