A Safe way to have a raffle

Recently, due to a change in management at my church, the Council has been going through the old church archives in an effort to cut down on the amount of useless crap we’re storing.  They came across an old safe similar to this one:

Chubb-Leamington model 6000 safe

Chubb-Leamington model 6000 safe

but much smaller.

No one has a key or has any clue what the combination is.  No one has any clue what might be inside it.  After a bunch of the sturdier guys shoved it around a bunch, they determined that it was likely empty since nothing could be heard rattling around inside.  The plan is to raffle it off at a benefit breakfast for the food pantry.  The deal is that if you win, you get to keep the safe and the contents.  The catch is that you have 30 days from the drawing date to have it removed from the church building at your expense.  I doubt many people will try to win the opportunity to dispose of a heavy and likely empty safe.

Unless they can crack the code, and have a functioning safe.

I’m sure we’d all like to have a ~1956 1.125″ solid steel combination safe in our houses. 🙂

        It would be kinda sweet.

Lol. I’ll keep you posted on the raffle date so you can enter the drawing.
