Further Adventures in Azeroth

Emeriss

Emeriss

This was about as close as I wanted to get.  I had to visit this World Tree as part of the achievement of exploring the Hinterlands.  It so happened that Emeriss was waiting here.

Manifestation of Water Spirits

Manifestation of Water Spirits

As part of a quest in Felwood, I asked this nice Tauren shaman to cleanse the water from the Jaedenar moonwell.  She turned around, walked into the water, and asked this big water elemental to purify it.  She takes all the credit for getting a guy to do a thing.

Drunken Water Spirit

The water spirit was obviously drunk

The shaman spoke Common (heh, rhyme much?) but the water elemental responded with a whole bunch of words that didn’t make any sense at all.  I don’t think the shaman understood either.

Scenic Southfury River

Scenic Southfury River

Flying between Felwood and Ratchet takes me over the Southfury River.  I caught this scenic horde-styled bridge and gate embordered by two huge wooden watchtowers.  It was quite the sight.

I’m not sure what city this would be.  To the east is the far northwestern end of Durotar and to the west is the border between the Barrens and Ashenvale.

To the right (east) is Azshara – kinda pretty.  To the left (west – the Ashenvale side), up the river a bit, is a nice-looking Horde town.

Does anyone have a clue what these nice-looking Horde settlements are here along the Southfury River?  Thanks!

Forest Song, Ashenvale

Forest Song, Ashenvale

And just because I like the bizarre purple light here in Forest Song.  Night Elves and Dranei living uncomfortably alongside Satyr.  Though my favorite lighting scheme in the whole game is at Forlorn Rowe in Duskwood.
