And yes, before you all write comments about how Sugar Gliders do NOT make good pets, know that I totally agree. 99% of the population doesn’t have the training or time to give a family of sugar gliders the care that they need to be happy and healthy. So please don’t jump all over me about how it’s wrong to keep them as pets. It doesn’t make them any less cute.

Scottish Folds are named for the flexibility of the cartilage in their ears. In other words, they’re floppy-eared cats. But the same gene that gives them floppy ears also gives them musculoskeletal disorders later in life. Responsible breeding can all but eliminate the risks, producing healthy, happy cats with slightly floppy ears. Folds tend to be very patient and have an odd preference for sitting on their butts like the one with the Wiimote around its neck is doing.

On a sadder note, my cat that isn’t mine is likely on her way out. It appears she’s having seizures.
